Gateway to the Watershed

Marin Stables provides a friendly gateway to the Marin watershed at the end of Wood Lane in Fairfax for pedestrians and equestrians. Come visit us and our horses, take a restroom break, have some cool water, or get directions and a trail map.

We assist Marin Municipal Water District (MMWD) in improving and maintaining nearby trails and habitat. Volunteer opportunities are available! Check our Events page for upcoming events.

The trails from Marin Stables start out as single track, so bicycles are not allowed. Bicyclists can start out at nearby Deer Park School on Porteous Road, and come visit Marin Stables before or after they ride.

Dogs are welcome, as long as they are on leash.
